The Jabodetabek area (Jakarta and its Satellite Cities) became one of the places Timorese children were sent. Victims were spread across several locations such as Jakarta, Bekasi, Karawang, and Rangkasbitung. The victims survived with informal jobs including selling food, working in security, as parking attendants, or as housewives for many women victims.
