Unlearning Impunity

The young generation is learning to comprehend impunity based on the experiences of survivors of Human Rights violations and their pursuit to attain justice. Through participatory action research in 5 regions; Jabodetabek (Jakarta and its’ Satellite Cities), West Java, Central Java, East Nusa Tenggara, and South Sulawesi, young people listened to survivors’ stories, identified the impacts, and simultaneously learnt the cause of the problems that have been experienced by survivors. Humanityouth is an intergenerational dialogue that is strengthening solidarity in an effort to sever the cycle of violence that has become a part of Indonesia’s daily life.
